About

Tatterstack is a celebration of pottery industry heritage, craftsmanship and the iconic architecture that once defined Britain’s ceramic landscape. Inspired by the historic potteries of Stoke-on-Trent and beyond, my work brings the character and story of the traditional bottle kiln and bottle oven into a new, miniature form.

Each piece I create is rooted in history. These buildings were once at the heart of pottery production, shaping not only ceramics but entire communities. Today, many of them have disappeared but their legacy remains. I aim to preserve that legacy through carefully crafted miniature recreations that capture the form, texture and spirit of these remarkable industrial landmarks.

My models are more than decorative objects. They are conversation pieces, educational tools and tributes to the ingenuity of past generations. Whether displayed at home, given as a thoughtful gift, or added to a personal collection, each piece reflects a deep appreciation for Britain’s industrial history.
