Bottle kilns were used in pottery making and are a characteristic feature of the industrial landscape in my home town of Stoke-on-Trent, with nearly 50 still standing today as listed buildings. I designed these miniature figurines to typify the classic bottle kiln shape and each one is uniquely finished in my signature abandoned style. You can hang them on a wall or stand them on their base, and it comes with a wall hanging bracket so you can easily choose.
2025 is the centenary year of the city of Stoke-on-Trent and I’m working to make a limited edition of 100 individual bottle kilns. The one that you buy will have an individual serial number and unique features that you can choose.
