Bottle Kiln (standard edition)
Bottle kilns were used in pottery making and are a characteristic feature of the industrial landscape in my home town of Stoke-on-Trent, with nearly 50 still standing today as listed buildings. I designed these miniature figurines to typify the classic bottle kiln shape and each one is uniquely finished in my signature abandoned style.
I first started to make these miniature kilns in a special celebratory edition of 100 for the centenary year of the city of Stoke on Trent. Due to their popularity, that celebratory edition rapidly sold out.
I am now pleased to offer this permanent/standard edition which is available to pre-order. Unlike the limited centenary edition, this edition does not come with a serial number or door sign options, otherwise it is every bit the same miniature bottle kiln.
